Robert M Webb was the husband of Martha Webb of 32 Othello Street, Kirkdale.
 
A report on his death appeared in the Liverpool Echo on the 30th March 1915 and, very briefly, in the Bootle Times on the 21st May 1915. His photo appeared in the report and is reproduced here with the kind permission of the Liverpool Daily Post & Echo.
 
BOOTLE SOLDIER KILLED.
   Private Robert Webb, of the 7th Battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment (Bootle's Battalion) died from wounds received whilst in action at Neuve Chapelle.
   The deceased soldier was a well known Bootle man, and resided in Recreation-street. He leaves a widow and family.
